Melt in your mouth sweetness from the dates and creaminess from the nuts and the almond butter. Great sustaining energy with a cacao kick!

Ingredients

1 cup almonds or walnuts, activated and dehydrated if possible

1 cup medjool dates, pitted

1/4 cup desiccated coconut

1 tbsp raw cacao

tsp cinnamon

1/4 cup almond butter

Directions

In a food processor or strong blender grind the almonds or walnuts until finely ground.

Add the dates, coconut shreds and spices and grind into a fine meal.

Add the almond butter and process again until thoroughly mixed. If too dry add either a few drops of water or some melted coconut oil.

Form into small balls and roll in shredded coconut. Store in a sealed container on the counter for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to a few weeks.
